Patient Satisfaction Tool

Press, Ganey Associates and MedStat Group have partnered in a joint initiative to link patient satisfaction data with clinical outcomes information for hospitals. The software program allows hospitals to measure the impact of their clinical quality improvement efforts.

For example, users can use the tool to determine how effective their efforts to manage lengths of hospital stay and patient satisfaction.

Sisters of St. Francis Health System, an early adopter of the software, is using the program to determine better strategies for saving time, money and improving patient satisfaction, according to Martin Leffin, the hospital's VP of quality services.
