It may not have Little Havana, but Miami's neighbor to the north is recognizing the influence of its growing Latino population. Editors at the Orlando Sentinel have unveiled
plans for a weekly publication covering local, national and international news in Spanish and English. The weekly will circulate to about 60,000 central Floridians initially.
Maria Padilla, Sentinel columnist, takes the helm at El Sentinel as Hispanic affairs editor, overseeing El Sentinel and El Sentinel.com, as well as Hispanic-related content in the
Orlando Sentinel. Publication begins in August.
