O&M DROPS PAC BELL ACCOUNT

Ogilvy & Mather, Los Angeles, dropped its less-than-two-year-old $30 million mobile services account with Pacific Bell, Los Angeles, because of a "conflict of interest" due to its Feb. 12 win of the $80 million GTE Corp. account, according to David Dickstein, Pacific Bell corporate communications manager. Ketchum, which for five years headed Pacific Bell's direct mail account, has now taken over the former O&M account for Pacific Bell's Personal Communications Service.
