School-focused publisher Scholastic Inc. is addressing violence in schools. "Understanding Hate" is a new curriculum-based magazine for teachers and students that explores
hate-based crime, from the Holocaust to Columbine HS. The one-time publication presents articles and activities to stimulate student discussion and help prevent acts of violence.
