More Accessible. Access Internet Magazine, which touts itself as "America's Guide to the Internet," began strutting a new print design last week in response to
reader demand for greater navigability. (Oh, the irony.) The Parade-esque weekly boasts a circulation of 8 million+ and is distributed through more than 70 metropolitan
newspapers, giving newbies the lowdown on good Web destinations to visit. Coverage spans personal finance, health, education, travel, entertainment, arts/culture,
technology/science, shopping, family issues and sports. The makeover comes courtesy of Maryjane Fahey & David O'Connor Editorial Design, New York - a firm that has also
reconstructed titles such as Men's Health, Premiere and Working Woman. Stephanie Chang is editor of Access. (617/527-9353)
Cleaned Out. Also going under the knife: Out Magazine, in the wake of its acquisition by Liberation Publishing (PRN, May 15). In September, the Navigator,
new products and technology sections will disappear. Those seeking one last hurrah can direct Navigator pitches to Managing Editor Jollyon Helterman at 6922 Hollywood Boulevard,
Suite 1000, Los Angeles, CA 90028. Stay tuned for further details about the editorial redesign.
