Nat’l Foundation Study Shows Women Using Internet More.

In other cyber news, a just-released study by the National Foundation for Women Business Owners debunks some myths about how technology- and Internet-savvy women really are (it's typically been reported that men have embraced online technologies more than women). The study revealed this:

  • Women business owners increased their computer investments in the past year by 60 percent to $170.3 million and plan to invest an additional $67.2 billion in computer hardware and software in 1997.

So if you're heading interactive communications and PR projects for your firm or your employer, you should realign your thinking (if you haven't already) and gear online campaigns and programs for women as well. (NFWBO, 301/495-4975)
