PricewaterhouseCooper's Consulting announced a name change to "Monday" earlier this year in a move designed to separate the consulting firm from its accounting parent in
stakeholders' minds. But with the announcement that IBM will purchase the consulting subsidiary for $3.5 billion (see This Just In), the name Monday will most likely not be used.
Ironically, PwC Consulting's check for $5 million, purchasing the use of the Monday moniker, arrived on Monday of last week at OneMonday Group PR (whose U.S. brands include Bite
