Mo Moorman currently serves as director, public relations and social media at Milwaukee-based Aurora Health Care since 2013. In the first two years of his role at Aurora Health Care, Moorman developed a public relations program that grew the organization’s annual earned media coverage by more than 22 million impressions and a social media strategy that established an average of 25,000 monthly engagements with Aurora’s social media content, most of which was produced by the organization’s physicians as part of a thought leadership/employee engagement strategy.
Prior to Aurora, Mo supported communications and marketing functions at a variety of organizations, including Johnson Controls’ Building Efficiency business, international apparel brand Jockey International, bicycle corporation Pacific Cycle and Denver-based public relations agency Schenkein PR.
Mo holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida and a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from Northwestern University. He is a frequent speaker at public relations, social media and other marketing and communications conferences and seminars. He holds an accreditation in public relations and is a member of the American Marketing Association and the Public Relations Society of America.
