Although the recording industry continues to get rocked by the sharing of online music files - why buy the CD when you can download the tunes for free? - one of the more
lucrative spaces for the business has been the sale of tickets to live concerts.

The concert circuit gets a serious jolt during the summer as a slew of (touring) music festivals get underway. If you're looking for some type of concert tie-in, your best
bets are either in coastal cities like Baltimore or San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose or the Midwest (see chart). No longer a cheap alternative for entertainment, the cost for
concert tickets has skyrocketed in recent years, mainly because of increasing liability incurred by producers.

More than a third of concertgoers have income levels that exceed $75,000, while a fourth have incomes between $50,000 and $75,000. And they need it to feed their habit. Turn
and face the change.
