It's downtime for many senior PR executives right now - hitting the links, grilling the chops -- but thoughts have already turned toPR campaigns that will get underway this
fall and early '05. With that in mind, we thought it would be interesting to see what people plan to purchase this season according to age and ethnicity. We include the big-
ticket items like houses, home security systems and furniture, as well as myriad gadgets (cell phones, DVD players, video games) that a growing number of folks feel they simply
can't live without. The tables list the overall number of people who plan to purchase a particular item and the percent of the target planning to buy that item
