seldom follow up. Until next January, that is, when they make another vow to get in shape. Nevertheless, the winter season is a ripe opportunity for fitness clubs to push their
messages to those people who put their money where their mouths are.
According to an analysis by Medialink Demographic Intelligence, America's top-five fitness-focused cities are San Diego, San Francisco, Detroit, Boston and Portland, Ore. The
top markets ranked by population always show up on the list, so we decided to rank this metrics by the likelihood of metro-area adults who belong to a health or fitness club. For
