In the last issue we looked at American Health For Women; this issue we've flipped the gender coin and targeted the editors of Men's Health, which reaches 1.2 million adult men (primarily 25-49 in the U.S.). This staff has a short fuse for phone pitches, "We would never accept a story idea over the phone," says Ron Geraci, assistant editor. To get their ear, it's best to send a brief release on health subjects that affect men most, like cholesterol, cancer and mental and physical stress.
