Bloomberg's Forum team is responsible for securing guests for all of its executive interview series, "The Bloomberg Forum." Forum interviews are archived on the Bloomberg news service that reaches the top investors in 100 countries around the world. Interviews are made available to Bloomberg Television, a 24-hour news and information service with an emphasis on business and finance, as well as Bloomberg Radio, which draws 13 million listeners each day. Note that the contacts at Bloomberg do not have traditional titles such as producer or editor. Bloomberg execs were accessible and returned our calls, but it's clear they have little patience for interruptions.

Comments: When we called about Bloomberg TV, we had the good fortune of getting Hickey on the phone, but she is extremely quick and to the point, so don't waste her time asking questions an assistant or rookie could field. Only the CEO or Chairman of a publicly traded company qualifies to be a Forum guest. The company must have a minimum market cap of $100 million. If you are pitching a money or portfolio manager, he or she must be managing at least $100 million in assets.
