MEDIA DATABASE UPDATES MONTHLY

MediaMap, Cambridge, Mass., a provider of media database services for PR executives, announced that next month it will begin updating its listings monthly, rather than the typical quarterly process found in the media database field. The company, whose listings cover the computer, telecommunications and business and finance media, will make updates available to its customers via the Internet, on a password-protected site.
For new customers, the monthly update service costs $2,295 annually. This price includes a free copy of the company's Media Manager media relations software. Existing customers getting quarterly updates can upgrade to the monthly updates product for $500. (MediaMap, 617/374-9300)
