Katie Paine, PR NEWS columnist and Advisory Board member, has officially launched KDPaine & Partners, a new firm whose goal will be to make measurement advice and
consulting broadly available to PR professionals who have traditionally been unable to afford them. The company Web site, http://www.measureofsuccess.com, and newsletter, The Measurement Standard, will provide information and resources for small- and medium-
sized businesses, government agencies and nonprofits which have typically shied away from cost-prohibitive high-level measurement consulting. Paine likens her new venture to
"personal trainers for marketers. Companies like Delahaye Medialink own the gym and make the exercise equipment, but we design your fitness program, and then review your results
and recommend steps for future improvement." Paine recently left Delahaye Medialink (where she is being replaced by Mark Weiner).
