NASCAR Integrated Marketing Communications
Matt Ciesluk is the director of Content Communications in the Integrated Marketing Communications department at NASCAR, where he oversees a team responsible for the sanctioning body’s entire strategic media outreach efforts, as well as the development of media assets utilized by the company’s numerous business units and industry stakeholders. Additionally, he provides senior oversight of the company’s written communications efforts, its media website, NASCAR’s statistical output, the NASCAR Wire Service and NASCAR Wire en español.
Matt joined NASCAR in January 2012 after more than 15 years working in the consumer public relations sector, where he managed marketing communications programs for numerous brands, including MasterCard, Gillette, NASCAR, The Hartford, Sara Lee Branded Apparel, Crown Royal, vitaminwater, POWERADE, Levi's Dockers, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and ATP men's tennis.
During that period, Matt oversaw the day-to-day operations of New York-based Catalyst’s Public Relations’ first satellite office in Charlotte. Prior to Catalyst, he spent eight years at Taylor Strategy (formerly Alan Taylor Comm. and then Taylor), the first four in its New York headquarters before relocating to Charlotte to assist in opening and operating the agency’s first satellite office.
