Cyber News : Polish Your Online PR
As users have become more Web acclimated, they've become more reliant on the Internet as a business and day-to-day medium, according to "The Consumer Internet Market, 1997-2002" report from Find/SVP and Cyber Dialogue. So, you'll need to make sure that your online PR integrates approaches that focus on users needing the Web, versus having a mere curiosity.
Findings include:
- 91 percent of Internet consumers tap into the Net for personal reasons; and
- Dependency on e-mail is maturing: 59 percent of all e-mail users use e-mail daily and 89 percent use it at least weekly.
The $1,895 report (the price is $1,695 for Find/SVP cardholders) is based on data from the "1997 American Internet User Survey" of 1,000 Net users and 1,000 non-users. To order a report, call 800/346-3787.
