Marie Baker is the senior manager, social strategy & community at Bayer. In her role she explores and identifies ways to integrate social media into business strategies, marketing campaigns, corporate social responsibility efforts and public awareness efforts. The primary focus of the position is to increase Bayer’s corporate reputation in the U.S. by developing and implementing insights-fueled Paid, Earned, Shared, Owned (PESO) digital communications programs.
Previously, Marie was Vice President of Social Media at Coyne PR where she led a team of community managers and strategists to create data-driven integrated marketing programs that engaged consumers and stakeholders. With over a decade of communications experience, she has worked with a broad array of companies and industries including healthcare, automotive, entertainment, CPG, beauty, and franchise businesses.
Marie currently resides in New Jersey with her husband and two crazy and awesome kids. She graduated from California State University of Sacramento with a B.A. in Communications.
