In a survey gaugin the public's views on the credibility of various industries, the managed care industry finished near the bottom of the list, only slightly higher than the tobacco industry.
The pharmaceutical industry ranked second highest in terms of credibility.
The new survey, by N.Y.-based PR firm, Porter/Novelli, is based on responses from 1,100 Americans nationwide who were asked to rate their view of credibility against eleven major industries. (Porter/Novelli, 212/872-8233)
