As Senior Director Digital and Customer Relationship Management for Hard Rock International, Kim Matlock is responsible for Hard Rock's global online presence that includes www.hardrock.com, along with the development and execution of web, digital, e-commerce, social, CRM and customer response strategies that builds relationships through consumer engagement through a global social/digital media omnipresence that spans across more than 100 countries.

Under Kim’s leadership, Hard Rock’s social media presence has significantly increased and continues to climb. Since Kim joined Hard Rock in 2010, Hard Rock’s Facebook fan base has increased to more than 8.5 million fans, and the brand now has more than 850,000 Twitter followers. She has recently launched Hard Rock Rewards, a points-based program in which registered customers earn points based on certain purchases made at any participating company owned, franchised or licensed locations throughout the world.

As Senior Director Digital and Customer Relationship Management for Hard Rock International, Kim Matlock is responsible for Hard Rock's global online presence that includes www.hardrock.com, along with the development and execution of web, digital, e-commerce, social, CRM and customer response strategies that builds relationships through consumer engagement through a global social/digital media omnipresence that spans across more than 100 countries.

Additionally, Kim has championed several highly successful social media initiatives for the Hard Rock brand, such as the Hunt for Hard Rock, an online scavenger hunt leading up to the much anticipated Hard Rock Calling concert festival in London, and all onsite Facebook and Twitter activation throughout the annual music festival that resulted in a Twitter Business case study. Kim was also instrumental in the implementation of Hard Rock Rising, the first global battle of the bands, which consisted of a partnership with ReverbNation.com and Facebook. In 2012, her team triumphed as the ACBJ Business Journals Social Madness winner beating out more than 4200 businesses in the U.S. competition.

Matlock boasts a broad range of experience across a spectrum of disciplines, from marketing and sales to software development. Prior to Hard Rock, Matlock was Marketing Director, Global Events Business Management for Microsoft, where she acted as a business manager and brand steward for the TechEd & Tech Days educational event brands. During her time at Microsoft, Matlock also served as a solution sales manager and brand developer evangelist, responsible for building a brand advocate framework through customer engagement, in-person and online events and product community innovation programs.

Prior to Microsoft, Matlock was the co-founder of Software Company, focused on creating social media platforms for the entertainment industry.

Matlock, a graduate of Valencia College, currently resides in Orlando, FL with her husband Mark, and two sons Joshua and Logan.
