Kids Surf Away from the Tube

Looking to reach the ever-elusive under-21 marketplace? You'd be better off online than on the air, according to a new study from Knowledge Networks/Statistical Research Inc.
The study shows one third (33 percent) of kids 8 to 17 chose the Internet as their preferred medium, while only 26 percent favor TV. This is the first time the annual study has
found the Web to be ahead of the tube; last year's numbers showed 29 percent of kids favoring television. Experts say the ability to interact and control what they're viewing is a
powerful factor in kids' preference for the Internet. For more information on the study, go to http://www.statisticalresearch.com.
