Journalists Policing Journalists

The Asian American Journalists Association, a non-profit membership organization with about 1,700 members, put out a release encouraging the media to continue responsible
reporting on our nation's Arab American communities. "Already, there is much concern within Arab American communities in our nation about the backlash that might result from
Tuesday's attacks. These fears are fueled by reports that link these attacks to Arab or Islamic terrorists." The release refers journalists to a guide written by The Detroit Free
Press, "100 Questions and Answers About Arab Americans," available online at http://www.freep.com/jobspage/arabs/index.htm. (http://www.aaja.org)
