Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., is seeking a senior media relations administrator to act as company spokesperson, develop corporate media strategies, write press materials, coordinate media interviews and organize press events. Four years of agency or corporate p.r. experience required. POSITIONS OPEN: Working with senior variable annuity and mutual funds marketing staff, brokers/dealers, and fund managers you will serve as the point person for our leading line of business: individual investment products (annuities and mutual funds). Responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive media relations activity including writing news releases; pitching national, business, consumer, and trade publications and major TV/cable networks; and arranging interviews of Hartford Life executives and fund managers; and responding to media calls.
Ideal candidate will have 5-7 years' hands-on media relations experience. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills crucial, as well as a demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects. Experience in financial service is preferred. Position involves travel, primarily on East Coast (Boston, NYC, DC) for media work.
