These seasoned professionals will coordinate all aspects of the development/implementation of strategic global communications and advocacy development plans; provide guidance and counsel on global strategies/policies; and develop/maintain close, professional relationships with all news media members. In addition, these individuals will evaluate agency resources and recommend changes, additions, etc. as well as initiate, develop and monitor activities/projects that will encourage a favorable business climate to capitalize on business opportunities and confront business challenges. These detail-driven, strategic thinkers will have the ability to implement/manage effective global product support/public relations programs, experience with extensive issues management and crisis communications, and familiarity with patient education and/or allied development. Extensive media contacts, in both the consumer and trade areas, are essential. Strong writing, editing, presentation and managerial skills are critical to success in these key roles. Global travel is required.
