Doctors are more Web-savvy than ever, according to an American Medical Association study on physicians' sse of thd Web. More than 70% of doctors used the Web in 2000, up from
20% in 1997. Frequent activities include communication, news gathering, drug information location and patient education. 25% of physicians use email to communicate with patients,
and 26% have their own Web site.
