Investor relations, one of the primary professional genres of many PR programs today, is a lucrative field, according to a recent report, according to a new study.
The National Investor Relations Institute, Vienna, Va., reported that corporate investor relations officers received average cash compensations (including salaries and bonuses) of $115,000 in 1995.
The finding was part of NIRI's 1996 survey which explores the responsibilities and compensation of IR executives. (NIRI, 703/506-3570)
