Online investors are a different breed from traditional shareholders, and tend to be independent thinkers, according to the latest research by InvestMove.com, a stock research
information firm.
A recent survey of 507 account holders revealed that only 28% of Web-savvy
investors make use of full-service brokers. The majority (54%) use Internet
discount brokers and do a fair share of their own financial research online.
