Men's End. On the heels of the fold of P.O.V. (PRN Jan. 17), two magazines join the growing list of once-hip, now-defunct men's titles. Four-year-old Icon
bows out of the competition after it fell hopelessly behind on its bills. And Bikini magazine will cease publication with its March issue, with some of its features to
be absorbed by sister publication Ray Gun. Send pitches to Randy Haberek, managing editor, 2812 Santa Monica Boulevard #204, Santa Monica, CA 90404; fax 310/452-8076.

Boy's Beginning. Ratcheting down to the 13- to 17-year-old male demographic, Rodale is launching MH-17, a spin-off of Men's Health for the younger set. Because
teens don't worry about love handles or prostate cancer, the pub, scheduled to launch in September, will focus more on looking good. A second issue is slated for December, with a
bimonthly schedule for 2001. As it's still in its pre-adolescent phase, the magazine isn't ready for outside pitches, according to editor Jeff Csatari. Stay tuned for pitch tips.

Big Business. In a move that will have mail carriers everywhere cheering, Business 2.0 ups its frequency from monthly to biweekly. With the upcoming March issue topping
a back-aching 450 pages, publishers decided to split the book, giving readers a less formidable and more timely read. Features will remain mostly the same, with some editorial
changes on the horizon. James Daly is editor-in-chief. 415/468-4684.
