Each fall, PR News recognizes the best and most innovative marketing, communications and PR campaigns of the last year with its Platinum PR Awards program. The winners of awards in categories like best Social Media Campaign, Blog, Annual Report and many more have gone on to launch even more successful campaigns in following years.
Some Platinum PR Award winners have taken successful campaigns and repurposed them as evergreen content. For example, Happy Family, an organic children's food company, won a 2016 Platinum PR Award for best Video Program, and continues to display their winning video on the This Is Happy campaign website. The "This is Happy" campaign video, which cycles through poignant shots of parenthood (even at its most non-glamorous), had seen just over 1 million views around the time the campaign launched in January 2016. Today, the video has well over 2 million views and counting, so it stands to reason that it remains the centerpiece of the "This is Happy" site.
