Can the measurement conference help advance your career? It did for this attendee!

It crossed my mind that I should mention how awesome the Measurement Conference was for me as a student. Not only did I learn about analytics in a way my professors never could but I also had a great time networking. In fact, I cornered guest speaker Kelley McLees and asked her to review my resume. Before the conference I did some research on all of the guest speakers in attendance and noticed that her agency Everywhere Agency was hiring for an entry level position (perfect for me since I was graduating in a couple weeks.) Kelley informed me that they were no longer accepting applications and were pretty set with who they were hiring BUT, she would make an exception and pass my resume along. A couple Skype interviews later I am proud to say I was extended an offer by Everywhere Agency a couple days after graduation and have been here ever since.

Just wanted to let the powers that be know how rewarding an opportunity like that can be for a student and to let it be known how appreciative I am of the opportunity. I now encourage my peers to try their best to attend conferences and to learn from my success and get creative when got me a job! :)
