Girls Just Want … Another Magazine

A sneak peak at Lifetime, the new magazine slated for an April
launch and based on the women's cable network, is available in
large newspapers and in trades like Ad Age and Adweek. Hearst and
Disney are partnering on the magazine, which promises to be yet
another lifestyle book aimed at women in their 30s, with a focus on
storytelling (following the same lines as the hyper-emotional cable
station's programming), advocacy of women's issues and typical
lifestyle features like beauty and entertaining. Sally Coslow will
be editor-in-chief; contact her at 212/696-5778. Cathy Cavender, of
Rosie fame, will be deputy editor, and Darcy Jacobs will be senior
editor.
