Get Personal

Got a good database that charts the deadlines and contact preferences of health
journalists? Jackie Loeb of Ogilvy PR Worldwide believes this is only the starting
point for sound relationships with medical reporters. In addition to noting
the usual dish (e.g., name, preferences and how long the reporter has covered
specific topics) it's important to note whether the reporter has ever had a
personal experiences with a disease - such as a family member with cancer or
a friend with diabetes.
