The media recession has claimed another victim: Crain Communications Modern Physician, which has ceased publication with the December issue. However, it's not lights out
completely. The magazine's contents will be folded into sister publication Modern Healthcare and will also appear as a supplement to the weekly. PR execs who operate in healthcare
communications can still pitch Modern Physician since it will continue to publish digitally through e-mail blasts and the Web.
