FIRST COUNCIL OF PR NETWORKS FORMED TO PROMOTE ALLIANCES

The Council of Public Relations Networks, the first association of international PR affiliates, was recently formed to promote the benefits of, as well as promote, PR networks.

The organization's four charter members are Pinnacle Worldwide, The WorldCom Group, Public Relations Organization International [PROI] and IPREX.

The four networks had in 1996 a combined worldwide revenue base of more than $350 million, stemming from the billings of about 239 PR firms. (LobsenzStevens, 212/684-6300)
