2012 Rising Stars of PR: Allison Glass

Allison Glass

Account Manager, INK Public Relations

Over the last year, Allison Glass’ instincts, hard work and management and communication skills have led INK to new business wins, an expansion of current client contracts and pro bono successes.

On the new business front, she led two pitches from beginning to end, creating presentation decks, conducting research and presenting to the client.

Glass rallied the INK troops and created a pro bono campaign for Run for the Water, a 10-mile race put on by the Gazelle Foundation, with the aim of providing clean drinking water to the people of Burundi, Africa. Glass solidified this partnership by executing a social media campaign that more than tripled the Gazelle Foundation's online presence and led to the foundation surpassing its goal of registering 3,000+ runners (most of whom registered through online platforms). Glass also aided in the development of INK's start-up offering—a new branch of the agency focused on providing communication strategy for early-stage companies in the tech sector.

Tabbedout, a start-up mobile payment solution, began working with INK in May 2011, and within the last year under Glass’ management, has received 223 unique media hits (including the Wall Street Journal, TechCrunch, CNN and Entrepreneur) and has led this Austin-based start-up to be considered a major tech player in the mobile payments race.
