2011 Digital PR Awards – Online Newsroom

Winner: Baylor Health Care System – Baylor Health Care System Online Newsroom

To help fill the void of shrunken newsroom budgets and staff, Baylor Health Care System launched a newsroom in January 2011 offering media outlets the ability to quickly obtain information about Baylor. The most innovative tool of the newsroom is the “basket” feature. Similar to online shopping, users can choose the items they wish to download (in multiple formats), put them in their basket and “check out” when they are ready. —BM
