Twitter Watch: Jobs Buzz Rises as Apple Stock Falls

Not even Steve Jobs can change history: On June 6 Jobs and other Apple execs introduced the much talked about iCloud platform and other goodies at the Apple Developers Conference in San Francisco. While Jobs’ appearance likely buoyed investors and sparked more than 34,000 Twitter mentions worldwide (peaking at over 10,000 as he was speaking), analysts say the stock historically dips on the day of the event. That’s just what happened. Apple’s share price fell 1.6% to close at $338.04 on the Nasdaq.    Source: PeopleBrowsr (; data exclusive to PR News
