Even More Media Vehicles targeting Hispanics

Media outlets are scrambling to come up with content for Hispanics, the largest growing demographic in the country. Now ESPN, the dean of sports programming, is tossing its hat
into the ring. On January 7 the cable sports network will introduce "ESPN Deportes," a round-the-clock Spanish-language network with its own version of "SportsCenter" plus a
number of original programs. In addition to Major League Baseball, NBA and NFL telecasts, ESPN Deportes will also showcase UEFA Champions League Soccer, Major League Soccer and
Mexico's winter baseball league...Meanwhile, Jungle Media, which already publishes a handful of magazines for the MBA field, says it will launch Hispanic MBA sometime next year.
The magazine, targeting successful Hispanic professionals and executives, will be published along with the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA), the largest such Hispanic
organization in the country.
