Editor’s Note

Dear Readers,

Happy New Year! We hope 2003 will bring you success and
prosperity - and we want to help you meet those goals. This year PR
NEWS officially launches several new tools and features designed to
help you maximize your PR:

Archive Access - PR NEWS subscribers now have unlimited access
to our archives online. As a paid subscriber, you can search on
particular topics or articles from 1996 to present. (You'll need
your PR NEWS account number for entrée; if you don't have
that handy, please email [email protected].)

New Columns - PR NEWS will bring you more advice straight from
the experts with a PR and litigation column from Richard Levick (PR
NEWS 2002 Agency Professional of the Year), and a column on social
responsibility designed to help you win trust from all your
communities.

Media Board - Our new group of journalists from all areas of
media will answer your questions in a monthly feature that will
provide insight straight from the media's mouth.

Other New Features - Media Metrics will provide key statistics
and data on a wide variety of media outlets from leading sources;
Tipsheet will offer you strategic advice - in easy clip-and-keep
form - from leading PR industry sources on a broad spectrum of
topics; Trends & Tactics will take a look at the latest trends
in the industry and give you immediate, tactical advice on how to
use those trends to your advantage; and Measurement Matters will
provide best practices in PR accountability.

Webinars - We'll continue our series of Webinars with four
must-attend events in 2003, starting with our Measurement Webinar
in April.

Awards - Look for information throughout the year on the
Platinum PR Awards, The Social Responsibility Awards, 15 to Watch
and PR Professionals of the Year.
