Diversity Goes Digital

Diversity initiatives are no longer a moral imperative; they are critical strategies for corporations hoping to woo employees, customers, investors, business partners and favorable media coverage. A study released last week by the Diversity Best Practices Service of the DC-based Public Affairs Group highlights seven corporations for excellence in Web-based communication of their diversity commitments: U S West, Xerox, SBC, Sempra Energy, Nordstrom, Texas Instruments and Hewlett Packard. The study examined 149 Fortune 500 companies to track the categories in which they are communicating diversity messages online.
