Digitally-Enhanced Budgets

Say the word "Web" and communications executives see dollar signs. A majority (73%) of the senior communications execs who attended the Conference Board's 1999 Corporate Image Conference last month said they expect next year's corporate image budgets to increase, due to a surge in Internet-based strategies. Of those attending, 58 percent said they planned to change their corporate image in the next year. Many cited "information clutter" as a major obstacle.
