Digital, But Homogenous

Dotcoms are taking hits from all sides these days, it seems. Aside from analysts' dire predictions about the long-term financial viability of many e-commerce business plans, a study from the
recruiting firm Korn/Ferry International reports that most e-venture board rooms look like digitally enhanced old boys' networks. Only 49% of e-boards have at least one woman director, and only 42% have
at least one minority director. By comparison, 75% of the Fortune 1000 companies boast at least one woman on the board, and 65% have at least one minority director.
