Consumer ‘Likes’ Top ‘Comments’ 99-1 for B2B Brands on Instagram in Q2

Data can be sliced many ways. Below we see consumer actions, or engagement, with U.S. B2B brands on Instagram. Actions grew 159% between Q2 ’15 and Q2 ’16, according to Shareablee data provided exclusively to PR News Pro. Actions are the total of likes and comments. As we’ve seen before, brands needed to post only a few more times per month on average to spur significant engagement growth. Interestingly, the ratio of likes to comments remained constant year over year (see chart below). There were 99 likes for every 1 comment. Video actions grew 168% during the period. And 26% of all actions year over year came from video.
