After putting down stakes in Silicon Valley East, a.k.a. Reston, Va., Hill & Knowlton has closed its public affairs office there. General Manager Torie Clark told the staff
that the closure was intended as a cost-cutting move and that tech outreach and PR would be provided through H & K's DC offices.
