Christine de la Huerta, vice president, is the team leader of Digital Park, the digital and social media division of rbb Public Relations, a national marketing public relations firm headquartered in Miami, Florida.
Hip to the fast-changing ins and outs of new technology, Chris is the strategic leader on all of rbb’s social and digital media campaigns – both B2C and B2B. She designs communications programs that are in line with the industry’s best practices while incorporating the latest applications and trends in online communication. Chris ensures rbb’s award-winning interactive campaigns are designed and executed with the same strategic, targeted approach the firm brings to traditional public relations programs. Her goal is crafting creative yet pragmatic online marketing campaigns with measurable results. In 2012, rbb was honored with a PR News Digital PR Award for its social media campaign for Vlasic.
An rbb veteran of more than 16 years, Chris has managed accounts across multiple industries in corporate, consumer, health care, litigation, crisis and Hispanic PR serving such clients as Florida Power & Light Company, Language Line Services, Suez Energy North America and Starbucks. Over the years, she has managed some of the firm’s largest accounts, overseeing award-winning projects from national media tours to statewide community relations programs. She has primarily focused on program strategy, client service and campaign execution.
Chris serves on the board of the Social Media Club of South Florida. She is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with a specialty in media production. She is also certified in Word of Mouth Marketing and Social Media by the Word of Mouth Marketing Association. She resides in her hometown of Miami, Florida.
