Top Women in PR: Rebecca Honeyman

Rebecca Honeyman, Senior Vice President & General Manager, Hotwire PR

Having moved from London to the U.S., Rebecca is not only responsible for rapidly growing Hotwire’s business, but also for motivating and growing countless women under her leadership. So when the world’s largest job site, Indeed.com, was faced with the problem that its consumer awareness levels did not match its market status, they turned to Rebecca. To position Indeed.com as the key resource for hiring data, Rebecca devised a globally integrated campaign entitled “The Cost of the Empty Desk.” Supported by Indeed’s Chief Economist Dr. Tara Sinclair, the campaign’s research showed that U.S. job vacancies cost employers $160 billion per year. Leveraging Dr. Sinclair as the primary campaign spokesperson, Rebecca and her team worked closely with her to develop key messages, corporate story angles and commentary around the data. Not only did Rebecca create and launch the campaign, but she also oversaw its global release and helped coordinate efforts across the four markets. The campaign resulted in coverage in top-tier media outlets in each international market, including USA Today, Fortune, Business Insider, MSN and more.
