With a background that spans advertising, digital and traditional PR, Danny Segal is the ideal prototype for an Edelman planner. Over the past two years at Edelman he has proven indispensable to his colleagues and many of the agency's blue-chip clients -- initially in an integrated digital role and most recently as A Strategic Planner for the Pacific Northwest Edelman offices.
In his current role, Segal is responsible for uncovering consumer insights that lead to bigger, bolder and better brand campaigns and ideas. His work includes developing clear strategic visions, brand narratives and brand positioning work, and in-depth consumer research approaches for clients across several industries. His work includes support on Microsoft, Starbucks, VW and REI among other leading brands. Throughout his career, Segal has supported both Fortune 500 brands and startups.
Segal led the content creation and facilitation for a ‘Brand Narrative Workshop’ for a consumer technology client. This was a full day session with the highest ranked stakeholders at the company including two founders, the Head of Marketing and the CEO. He received glowing feedback from all involved. The session served as the foundation for a successful product launch.
He also directed the content creation and facilitation of a large scale workshop for a global food and beverage brand that involved 30+ very senior clients from across the organization including marketing, PR, trade, recruitment.
