An alum of Boston College with a degree in communications, O’Brien started working at Henson Consulting in early summer 2012 as an intern. Having no prior experience with public relations, her passion and knowledge for the industry quickly blossomed, and she became an indispensable part of the team.
In fact, the question “How could we have done this without Katie?” is often asked within her office. O’Brien now manages accounts for several national consumer brands, non-profits and hospitality clients, and serves as a junior publicist for celebrity chef and Food Network star Jeff Mauro.
