2015 Rising PR Stars: Michelle Selesky Giuda, SVP, Global Corporate Communications, Weber Shandwick

Since taking over as Weber Shandwick’s SVP of Global Corporate Communications last year, Michelle Selesky Giuda has been a propelling force behind the company’s strong reputation as a global industry leader, both within and outside the world of PR.

The youngest person on Weber Shandwick’s 21-person global leadership team, Selesky Giuda oversees the internal and external global communications strategy. In that role, she has been instrumental in promoting Weber Shandwick as the firm whose primary mission is to be “engaging, always.” for its clients, and doing so in a way that lives up to that promise.

Selesky Giuda has been an MVP in helping Weber Shandwick earn some of the industry’s most prestigious recognitions. She deserves much of the credit and a lot of kudos for Weber Shandwick being the only PR agency on Advertising Age’s A-List in 2014 and 2015, as well as being honored as The Holmes Report North America Agency of the Year in addition to Global Agency of the Year for 2014 and 2015, and PRWeek’s Global Agency of the Year for 2015.

In all her roles, she is a brand ambassador who consistently aims to boost Weber Shandwick’s reputation – and succeeds at it. Whether she’s speaking at the PRSSA Chicago conference, as she did this year to prepare the next generation of students for a career in communications, or at a GOPAC meeting to educate political communicators on crisis readiness, Selesky Giuda is “engaging always.” and therefore, a perfect face for Weber Shandwick.
