Angela Carrasco was the second employee in the Havas PR Phoenix office that was launched late last year and she has quickly emerged as the face of, brains behind and personality featured in the multicultural media relations effort called Havas Conexiones.
Media relations is not for the weak or the dispassionate. Carrasco is strong, emotional and loving, and she ends up caring deeply about her pitches, putting herself into each call with sass and savvy, the two words that seem to best describe her.
Carrasco is always offering support around the agency too, from securing international media coverage for the United Nations' action/2015 campaign and introducing contacts to colleagues, to joining brainstorms and sharing information about Hispanic media relations to enrich the work of the rest of her colleagues.
Before she joined Havas PR, Carrasco started her career in advertising, then spent more than eight years pitching Hispanic media on behalf of a wide range of clients, from Nintendo and Warner Bros. to Nike and ESPN Deportes.
